My privacy notice, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation 2018, explains the information I hold on you, why I hold this information and the way it is securely maintained and disposed. I will ask for your consent for me to hold this information once therapeutic work begins.
Confidentiality is maintained and information that you share with me will not be disclosed without your written consent. My work is supervised in accordance with the guidelines given by my professional body, the British Psychoanalytical Council (BPC). The only exceptions to keeping confidentiality could be where there is a risk of harm to self or others and requirements of law. In such circumstances I shall make every effort to talk to you about this first.
I endeavour to keep myself updated on current thought and research into the impact of technology and the Internet, and my engagement with technology and online activity may change as my thoughts and ideas continue to develop.
